Vacature Experience Lead
This consultancy agency is dedicated to improve the customer experience through design of interactive online products for their clients. They combine design and UX research in all their work, as they believe that integrating these fields leads to solid design decisions and better business results. They are a quickly-expanding agency, taking on interactive projects of ever-growing scale and complexity. The team comprises of 35 enthusiastic consultants with a passion for UX. They work for an international range of leading clients. To support further growth of this agency I-Scout is looking for an Experience Lead. The experience design department takes the lead in a project and keeps the overview from a quality point of view by focusing on an excellent online Customer Experience from all different angles keeping the agreed business goals in mind.
The Experience Lead coordinates all competences both inside and outside of client projects. Within projects you will keep the overview of the project, coordinate the competences in the team and help the team follow the vision that was defined together with the client. In addition the Experience Lead works in the team as a team member. Outside of projects you will help evolve the methodology and toolset. And also:
- Develop concepts together with the team and the client.
- Coordinate and run workshops with the team and the client.
- Lead and align the team consisting of multiple disciplines: IxD, VD, Development, Content, Strategy and Research.
- Work with the project manager to achieve these goals best within the set budget and timeframe.
- Reflect on design decisions and research from earlier on in the project / account.
- Keep the team in touch with the goals and vision of the project and the client.
- Keep the client up-to-date of the status of the project.
- Help the client with communication the vision, status and deliverables to other stakeholders.
Education and experience
- Master / Bachelor degree.
- 5+ years of experience working as an interaction designer, researcher, front-end developer or strategist.
- Broad knowledge, experience of and affinity with other relevant fields.
You are an excellent team player who is fluent in both Dutch and English, and you:
- Have strong affinity with online customer experience design and research.
- Have broad interest in different fields of expertise and willing to learn new things and integrate this into projects.
- Are able to manage by delegating responsibilities, providing clear direction and goals.
- Have an eye for the interactions between team members and the ability to solve conflicts.
- Are able to bring out the best in other team members.
- Are able to look critically at your own work and that of other team members.
- Have the ability to lead the team while at the same time listening to their ideas and concerns.
